1. Do narrow stance squats
What this does is it helps firm up you outter thigh muscles. I know what you're thinking right now. Just trust me, do this. It help create an hourglass figure. You can do bodyweight squats to accomplish this. Do 4 sets of 15-20 each day... resting 1 minute between each set.
Keep your feet about 8-9 inches apart.
2. Hula hoop
This does some crazy toning for the waist and hips areas. If there's 1 "GO-TO" exercise when it comes to getting a curvy waist, this one is it. I call it my "belly dancer exercise" because it mimics the movements of belly dancers.
Buy a weighted hula hoop ($15-20) and use it 10 minutes a day. Do it 1 minute at a time, 2 minutes at a time, whatever. I don't care about that. I only want that you do a total of 10 minutes by the end of the day.
3. Side laterals
These are for your outter shoulders. You lift up dumbbells towards your sides... up and out, until they're at shoulder level.
Again, this is all about illusion. You'll help great wider shoulders (don't worry, you won't look like a guy!!) which will help people see your narrower waist, which then goes into your wider (but firm) hips, which then curves in a bit until it gets to your thighs which curve back out a bit.
As you can see, it's all about shapes and illusions. Your waist will look more narrow than it is because your shoulders and outter thighs. Do 4 sets of 6-12 reps of side laterals.
